Behavioral Health Resources

The goal of outreach and education is to reduce stigma and increase utilization of behavioral health services.

We offer opportunities designed to assist individuals identify potential behavioral health concerns and address them before they worsen.

We offer FREE behavioral health screenings. To determine risks for depression, bi-polar, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and alcohol abuse. We also provide educational brochures and literature to raise community awareness and provide accurate information about mental illness and substance abuse help to remove the stigma associated with receiving behavioral health services.

Outreach includes the following initiatives:

  • Brighter Days: A holistic approach to suicide prevention in the African American community
  • Still I Rise: Domestic violence and sexual abuse resource
  • Community Kwanzaa Celebration luncheon
  • Minority Mental Health Conference, Youth Mental Health First Aid
