Outpatient Behavioral Health Counseling provides clinical services to address mental illness and substance abuse issues for all ages, individuals, couples and families. Mental health and substance abuse assessments are designed to provide a diagnosis, treatment plan and intervention services based on criteria established by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental disorders (DSM).
Mental health problems include depression, bipolar disorder (manic-depressive illness), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, schizophrenia and conduct disorder. We use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) criteria for diagnostic assessment.
Substance abuse evaluations encompass everything from alcohol, illegal substances and pharmaceutical abuse or addiction. We recognize that addiction and substance abuse impacts the individual, along with the entire family.
At the Center for Holistic Development (CHD), we focus on the issues that lead a person into addiction or substance abuse, learning how to live life without it and we teach potential to heal the family.
During stressful and difficult times, such as COVID19, our mental health must be a top priority. Behavioral health screenings are the quickest way to determine if you, or someone you care about, should connect with a behavioral health professional. This program is completely FREE, anonymous and confidential. Immediately following the brief questionnaire you will see your results, recommendations, and key resources.
